Remote Script Writer – Full‑Time/Contract

About the role

We are looking for a highly creative Script Writer to develop compelling narratives for a variety of media, including YouTube videos, commercials, television, and digital campaigns. Working remotely, you will collaborate closely with production and creative teams to turn ideas into polished, production‑ready scripts.

Key responsibilities

• Conceptualize and write high‑quality scripts tailored to specific media formats.
• Brainstorm story ideas, themes, and character development with directors, producers, and the creative team.
• Conduct in‑depth research to ensure factual accuracy and authenticity.
• Craft realistic dialogue and pace action to advance the plot.
• Participate in script readings, incorporate feedback, and refine drafts.
• Maintain consistent storytelling and format scripts to industry standards.
• Manage multiple writing projects and meet strict production deadlines.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Creative Writing, English, Communications, Film, or a related field (preferred).
• 3‑5 years of professional experience as a Script Writer, Screenwriter, or Copywriter.
• Strong narrative development skills with a deep understanding of pacing, structure, and visual storytelling.
• Excellent verbal and written communication, able to pitch concepts and accept constructive criticism.
• Robust portfolio showcasing a diverse range of scripts or produced work.
• Flexibility to adapt writing style to different audiences and project requirements.

Required skills

• Proficiency with scriptwriting software such as Final Draft, Celtx, or Fade In.
