Freelance Behavioral Health Coach – Remote (Sao Tome & Principe)

About the role

We are looking for qualified Behavioral Health Coaches to join our telehealth platform Intellect. In this freelance, remote position you will deliver 30‑minute video sessions that support clients’ mental wellbeing and personal development, focusing on sub‑clinical issues such as work stress, procrastination and work‑life balance.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct 1‑on‑1 telehealth coaching sessions with Intellect’s clients.
• Assist clients in defining personal, career or relationship goals and develop actionable plans.
• Address sub‑clinical concerns including stress management, productivity and work‑life integration.
• Collaborate with Intellect’s internal clinical team, providing feedback to improve the coaching program and platform.

Required profile

• Active International Coaching Federation (ICF) certification or a Master/Postgraduate Diploma in Counselling.
• ICF‑certified coaches must have ≥200 coaching hours; counsellors must have ≥300 clinical hours post‑graduation.
• Proficiency in English and the local language of Sao Tome & Principe.
• Experience with employee assistance programs, adult counselling or managerial coaching is preferred.
