EU-Africa Space Policy & Institutional Expert

About the role

NTU International is seeking a highly qualified Non‑Key Expert to support the Africa‑EU Space Partnership Programme (AESPP Boost). The expert will facilitate policy dialogue, institutional cooperation and programme governance between European and African stakeholders in the space sector.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate and support policy dialogue between EU and African Union institutions.
• Assist in the design and implementation of programme governance structures and steering mechanisms.
• Provide institutional advisory services to strengthen cooperation across the space ecosystem.
• Facilitate knowledge exchange, innovation promotion and private‑sector engagement.
• Monitor and analyse developments in EU space policy and African space governance architecture.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in international relations, public policy, law, political science, space policy or a related field.
• Excellent command of English; working knowledge of French and/or Portuguese is an asset.
• Minimum 8 years of professional experience in international cooperation, public policy or institutional advisory work.
• At least 4 years of experience with EU and/or African Union policy frameworks, inter‑institutional dialogue, and programme governance.
• Familiarity with EU space policy and African space governance bodies such as AfSA, AUC/RECs.
