Gender Equality & Social Inclusion Specialist (Non-Key Expert)

About the role

NTU International is seeking a Non‑Key Expert to integrate gender equality and social inclusion considerations into the Africa‑EU Space Partnership Programme. The role will ensure inclusive participation, gender‑responsive implementation and equitable access to opportunities generated by the cooperation.

Key responsibilities

• Integrate gender equality and social inclusion considerations across all programme activities.
• Promote inclusive participation and gender‑responsive implementation to ensure equitable access to opportunities.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in gender studies, social sciences, development studies or a related field.
• Minimum 8 years of professional experience in gender equality, social inclusion or inclusive development in international cooperation.
• At least 4 years designing and applying gender‑responsive approaches in donor‑funded programmes, including gender analysis and sex‑disaggregated indicators.
• Familiarity with EU external‑action gender policy and experience working in Africa are assets.
• Excellent command of English; working knowledge of French and/or Portuguese considered an asset.
