Customer Service Specialist – French Speaker (Remote)

About the role

We are seeking a bilingual French‑English Customer Service Specialist to join our fully remote call‑center team. The role supports an online travel platform, handling first‑level inbound and outbound interactions, including bookings, modifications, cancellations, deposit claims and escalations.

Key responsibilities

• Answer and place inbound/outbound calls while managing multiple cases simultaneously.
• Act as the first point of contact for homeowners using the booking platform.
• Provide timely, high‑quality assistance, especially during escalations.
• Log, classify and follow up on all customer interactions and maintain accurate call histories.
• Analyze call data, share feedback and stay updated on process and platform changes.
• Collaborate with internal and external teams through clear, documented communication.

Required profile

• Professional‑level French (C2) and fluent English.
• Proven experience in customer service, preferably in a call‑center or online travel environment.
• Ability to multitask between live calls and case handling under pressure.
• Strong computer literacy and experience working online.

Required skills

• Experience with Zendesk or similar ticketing platforms.
• Familiarity with Slack for team collaboration.
• Proficiency in Salesforce and standard office tools.
• Comfortable using Windows 11 or macOS 14 and a wired USB headset.
