Space Market, Innovation & Investment Expert

About the role

NTU International is seeking a highly qualified expert to support the Africa‑EU Space Partnership Programme. The role focuses on developing space and geospatial markets, fostering innovation and entrepreneurship, and enhancing investment readiness across African and European space ecosystems.

Key responsibilities

• Support activities related to space and geospatial market development, innovation, and entrepreneurship.
• Conduct market studies and develop innovation instruments for the space sector.
• Assist incubation and acceleration programmes to promote commercialisation of space technologies.
• Provide advisory services on investment readiness and facilitate access to finance for space projects.
• Contribute to policy dialogue, knowledge exchange and private‑sector engagement between Africa and the EU.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in economics, business administration, engineering, innovation management or a related field.
• Excellent command of English; working knowledge of French and/or Portuguese is an asset.
• Minimum 8 years of professional experience in market analysis, innovation, entrepreneurship, business development or investment advisory in technology sectors.
• At least 4 years of experience working on space and geospatial markets, including market studies, innovation instruments, incubation/acceleration, investment readiness, commercialisation or finance access.
• Knowledge of African space markets and investment ecosystems is a plus.
