Remote CMS Developer (Contract/Full‑Time)

About the role

We are seeking an experienced CMS Developer to design, build, and maintain custom content management systems such as WordPress, Drupal, or Craft CMS. The role is fully remote and operates on a contract basis, offering the chance to shape scalable, secure web experiences for a diverse set of clients.

Key responsibilities

• Architect, develop, and scale custom CMS applications, including themes, modules, and plugins.
• Translate UI/UX mockups into responsive, cross‑browser web pages using HTML5, CSS3 (Flexbox/Grid) and modern JavaScript (ES6+).
• Configure custom post types, fields, and taxonomies to provide intuitive editing for non‑technical users.
• Implement performance optimisations, technical SEO best practices, and ensure site security, backups, and regular updates.
• Integrate third‑party APIs, CRM systems, Google Tag Manager, and Google Analytics.
• Collaborate daily with designers, back‑end developers, and content stakeholders while maintaining clear documentation.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Web Development or equivalent experience.
• 3–5 years of professional software development focused on CMS platforms.
• Proven ability to work independently in a fully remote environment and manage time effectively.
• Strong debugging, troubleshooting, and attention to design detail.

Required skills

• HTML5, CSS3 (Flexbox/Grid), JavaScript (ES6+).
• Server‑side programming: PHP, Python or Ruby.
• Deep experience with WordPress, Drupal, Craft CMS or Magento.
• API integration, database management, and custom backend architecture.
• Technical SEO, Google Tag Manager, Google Analytics.
