Remote 3D Modeler (Full-Time/Contract)

About the role

We are seeking a highly creative and detail‑oriented Remote 3D Modeler to transform 2D concepts into high‑quality 3D assets for our globally distributed team. The role blends artistic vision with technical execution, supporting a variety of digital projects.

Key responsibilities

• Design and build high‑quality 3D models (organic and hard‑surface) from concept art, sketches, and reference material.
• Create and apply realistic or stylized textures, UV maps, materials, and lighting to enhance visual appeal.
• Optimize models by reducing polygon counts while maintaining aesthetic quality for real‑time performance.
• Collaborate with design, animation, and engineering teams via Slack, Zoom, and project‑management tools.
• Iterate on models, textures, and renders based on stakeholder feedback.
• Maintain organized folder structures, clean UVs, and clear asset versioning on cloud servers.
• Stay updated on industry trends, new software, and modern rendering techniques.

Required profile

• 3‑5 years of professional 3D modeling, texturing, and rendering experience with a portfolio.
• Ability to work independently, manage schedule, and communicate effectively in a remote setting.
• Exceptional eye for form, scale, color, proportion, and spatial relationships.
• Robust remote‑friendly workstation capable of handling complex rendering tasks.
