Private Sector Engagement Expert

About the role

NTU International is seeking a Private Sector Engagement Expert to support the Africa‑EU Space Partnership Programme (AESPP Boost). The role will focus on strengthening private‑sector participation, business development, innovation and investment across African and European space ecosystems.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and engage companies, entrepreneurs and investors to foster partnerships and commercial opportunities in the space, geospatial and technology sectors.
• Conduct market and value‑chain analyses to inform business support and matchmaking activities.
• Facilitate access to finance, innovation funding and investment pipelines for space‑related projects.
• Support policy dialogue and institutional partnerships that promote sustainable African space ecosystems.
• Contribute to knowledge exchange and innovation initiatives between Africa and the EU.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in economics, business administration, engineering, innovation management or a related field (or equivalent professional experience).
• Minimum 8 years of professional experience in private‑sector development, industrial cooperation, innovation, business development or investment facilitation.
• At least 4 years of experience engaging companies, entrepreneurs or investors, including market analysis, business support, matchmaking or access‑to‑finance activities.
• Experience in the space, geospatial or technology sector, preferably with exposure to African markets.
• Excellent command of English; working knowledge of French or Portuguese is an asset.
