Backend Engineer Annotator

About the role

We are looking for a Backend Engineer Annotator to support the development and evaluation of artificial‑intelligence models. In this role you will review, annotate, and validate backend‑focused datasets, code samples, and system‑design outputs to help improve AI performance.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze and annotate backend code samples, REST API and GraphQL workflows.
• Label datasets that involve authentication mechanisms, microservices, and event‑driven designs.
• Validate scalability, performance, reliability, and security standards of server‑side implementations.
• Provide structured feedback and engineering reasoning for dataset improvements.
• Review database queries, authentication systems, and containerized deployments.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems or a related technical field.
• Experience reviewing code or conducting technical assessments.
• Strong analytical mindset with attention to detail.
• Familiarity with backend security principles and secure coding standards.
