Egocentric Video Data Collector

About the role

We are seeking self‑motivated individuals to capture first‑person (egocentric) video footage of everyday activities. The recordings will be used to train next‑generation AI models and humanoid robots. You will work remotely, wearing a head‑mounted smartphone or smart glasses while performing routine tasks such as cleaning, organizing, or other household activities.

Key responsibilities

• Record raw POV video of meaningful daily tasks in a variety of environments.
• Wear the provided head strap or smart glasses to capture hands and objects interacting naturally.
• Follow strict technical specifications (stable lighting, landscape orientation, required resolution, and camera angles).
• Upload unedited video files and complete short metadata forms on the project portal within the agreed timeframe.
• Collaborate with the QA team and re‑record clips that do not meet framing or duration requirements.

Required profile

• Access to a modern smartphone capable of 1080p video at 30/60 FPS.
• Suitable residential or workspace environment for recording.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow precise recording rules.
• Awareness of privacy concerns – no faces, personal IDs, or sensitive data may be captured.
• Self‑starter able to commit 4–20 hours of usable footage over the project timeline.
